Territorial Energy Concept
We develop territorial energy policies for regions, cities and municipalities.
A Territorial Energy Policy sets out the objectives and principles of energy management in regions, cities and parts thereof, or municipalities The territorial energy policy shall include an assessment of the indicators of security, competitiveness and sustainability of energy management. The territorial energy policy specifies the conditions for efficient energy management in accordance with economic and social development needs, including environmental protection and sound management of natural energy resources.
The policy includes defined and projected areas or corridors for public utility structures for the development of the energy sector. It takes into consideration the potential for using efficient heating and cooling systems, in particular those that use, where appropriate, high-efficiency combined heat and power production, and heating and cooling using renewable energy sources. The territorial energy policy shall be prepared for a period of 25 years and shall be based on the State Energy Policy.
